"I Survived…," airing at 9 p.m. on Biography
This chilling new series retells the stories of people who have faced life-threatening events and lived to tell the story. Tuesday Pick

"Secret Lives of Women: Polygamy Cult," airing at 10 p.m. on WE
Given the events that have happened in Texas recently, how could we not pick this documentary? Wednesday Pick

"The Illusionist," airing at 10:20 p.m. on Encore Mystery
What's better to watch mid-week than a movie? Actor Edward Norton plays the part of a mysterious magician, Eisenheim, who competes with the heir to the Austro-Hungarian Empire to win back the woman (Jessie Biel) he once loved. With lots of twists and turns, it's one of my favorites.

Thursday Pick

"Grey's Anatomy," airing at 9 p.m. on ABC
Sure, maybe you don't like "Grey's;" but I do. And after having waited this long for the show to make its return to the set, I surely won't miss the chance to rave about it. Although I must say, after the first episode back ran last week, I have do two things I'm not too happy with: McDreamy's nurse and McSteamy's shave. Other than that, bring it on.

Friday Pick

Gain a little inspiration for your weekend. Maya Angelou narrates this ironically positive film about twelve Holocaust survivors who use art to music to survive through the terrors they experienced while imprisoned in concentration camps.
