Monday Pick

"The Bachelor: London Calling Finale," airing at 10 p.m on ABC
Even if you haven't been following along, after 10 seconds you'll be hooked. And not because it's really any good. Simply because you, like the rest of us, will be wondering why in the world did he keep the woman who looks like a horse around for this long?

Tuesday Pick

"Steel Magnolias," airing at 8 p.m. on TCM
OK – so maybe it's a chick flick, but who cares. And who doesn't love a little Dolly Pardon and Julia Roberts in their life every now and again? Make it a girls night if you need to – guys, the Red Sox and Orioles are playing at the same time on MASN, so quit whining.

Wednesday Pick

"1000 Ways to Die: Part I," airing at 11 p.m. on SpikeTV
If you're not into staying up this late mid-week, you can always DVR it. In this two-part series (the second airs next Wednesday, May 21), the show takes combines the science of living and the randomness of death to answer questions like, "what actually happens when a rattlesnake's venom enters the bloodstream?" Better yet – they show it all through computer generated imagery.

Thursday Pick

"Cult Killer," airing at 11 p.m. on MSNBC
So this airs pretty late as well, but having scene this documentary already, you should definitely stay up for or DVR it. Either way, it's disturbingly fascinating. David Berg, leader of the "Children of God," promoted biblical prophecy and sexual freedom to his followers. However, "The Family's" idea of free love gets out of hand when it turns to prostitution and pedophilia.

Friday Pick

"Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story," airing at 8 p.m. on Fox
This movie never ceases to make me cry with laughter. Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller are a hilarious pair when they go head-to-head against each other in a dodgeball tournament; Vaughn with his misfits and Stiller with his over-enhanced steroidal athletes.

Saturday Pick

"Some Like It Hot," airing at 9 p.m. on PBS
In this 1950's comedy, actors Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon disguise themselves as women and join an all-girl band to evade gangsters hot on their tail. And who happens to be the sizzling lead singer? None other than Marilyn Monroe – making this movie the perfect little Saturday night flick.

Sunday Pick

"Super Skinny Me," airing at 10 p.m. on BBCAmerica
To show the extreme lengths that some women will go to lose weight, two average-sized journalists accept a challenge to slim themselves down to a size zero – all within five weeks time. The effects of the rapid weight loss and extreme dieting on these two women are shocking.
