Timmons Group, a civil engineering and environmental consulting firm, has won a contract to provide civil engineering services for a $370 million Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) headquarters in Fort Meade, Md. The 70-acre site will have more than one million square feet of building space, parking for nearly 3,000 vehicles, and extensive utility work.
Timmons is part of the Hensel Phelps Design-Build Team. Said Timmons executive Michael Patey in a press release: “After successful projects for the Norfolk District Corps of Engineers, the City of Alexandria and the Federal Bureau of Prisons, we look forward to continuing our partnership with Hensel Phelps and the rest of the team.”
