JetBlue Airways will add daily nonstop service between Richmond and Orlando, Fla., beginning Nov. 2. Fares will start at $89 each way through Dec. 15. The fare, touts the airline, includes "unlimited free snacks, the most legroom in coach, and the most free live entertainment options of any airline."

The airline already links Richmond directly to Boston, Fort Lauderdale and New York.

"Residents of the Commonwealth, both here in the Capital Region and in northern Virginia -- where we serve Dulles International Airport -- have embraced and supported JetBlue's distinctive brand of service ever since we first touched down in the region," said Scott Laurence, JetBlue's director of route planning. "Our loyal customers have asked for nonstop service to more destinations, and we are pleased to offer it as our airline continues to prudently deploy aircraft into promising new markets." More.
