A Massey Energy Co. subsidiary has been cited for a violation state investigators say contributed to the May 16 electrocution of a worker at a West Virginia mine. Investigators have concluded that an electrician died partly because no one cut the power to a piece of equipment he was repairing at Massey's Aracoma Alma No. 1 Mine. More.

Timmons Group, an architecture and engineering firm, has won a contract to provide engineering services to Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity. The contract comes as Richmond Habitat has shifted its emphasis from building single-family, single-lot homes to mixed-income, mixed-use communities, rehabs and multi-family construction. More.
