Dominion, a producer of electricity and natural gas, has tightened its earnings guidance for the rest of 2008 and raised its outlook for 2009. The company expects to earn between $3.10 and $3.15 per share this year – nudging up the lower end of the range from $3.05 – and between $3.30 to $3.45 per share next year. The company cited positive impacts from the sale of Marcellus shale drilling rights and higher margins from its generation business. More.
