Christopher D. DeCapri, who opened a small jewelry repair shop in 1983 and built it into Capri Jewelers, one of the region’s top independent jewelers, died Wednesday. He was 51.
“If I had to describe my father in one word, it would be strong,” said Brittany DeCapri, his older daughter. “Every single thing he did in his entire life was for my brother, my sister and I. The three of us could never be grateful enough. … He made a great impression on everyone’s lives, and the three of us are very proud to call him our father.”
