Two Shockoe Bottom clothing retailers are heading a few miles west for the weekend, according to Work It, Richmond.
Jeans maker Shockoe Denim and shirt maker Ledbury are opening a temporary "pop-up" shop at music production company Black Iris. They'll be joined there by The Odd Couple, a furniture and décor business run by Andrew Carnwath and Jennifer Garcia, and Steady Sounds, a record store.
The westward excursion for Ledbury and Shockoe Denim was timed to coincide with the monthly First Fridays art event.
The pop-up shop will be open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Both Ledbury and Shockoe Denim will close their regular stores on Saturday in order to staff the temporary location.
