A Shot in the Dark

Attention single men of Richmond. Will you be the one to make our blind date column bloom this month?

A Shot in the Dark

Wait. I'm confused. Is that the sun I seek peeking through the clouds that have festered for longer than I care to think about these past few weeks? I think so.

This has to be symbolic of how our next "Shot in the Dark" column will end up. It just has to be.

If you ask me, the whole "April showers" thing has been taken way too far and I for one am ready for a few May flowers. I'm also ready for a simple, yet fun-in-the-sun outdoors date for our next "Shot in the Dark" couple.

To get there, though, I need your help!

Last go around, we let you vote on who would join Leonel as our leading lady. This time, we're switching it up and letting the guys duke it out for the chance at some free food, free entertainment and, perhaps, a chance at romance.

This week, our female dater is ready to go and I'm looking for a few good men to fill the shoes of our male contestants. Ideally, you're single, between the ages of 25 and 30 and, best of all, just looking to have a good time.

Fit the description? Then be my hero, and possibly our female dater's, by clicking here and signing up to take a "Shot in the Dark" with Richmond.com. Remember, it's all about the three "F's:" FREE, fun and (one can only hope) flirty. You get it all and we get the gossip.

Sounds like a fair trade to me.

For all you other singles out there, do not despair. I'm always, always, ALWAYS looking for potential daters, so before you hit the gym to work on achieving a bathing-suit ready body for summer, take a few minutes to work on your love life.

It only takes a minute or two and is as simple as clicking here, answering a few questions and hitting send.
