Conducting a cash transaction in a parking lot on Broad Street might seem a dicey proposition.

But this Saturday, it's strictly legit. Printmaker Travis Robertson is teaming with Quirk Gallery to hold an art yard sale, which gives those who are poor, but who have rich inner lives, a chance to buy some gallery quality art cheap, directly from the artist.

The show is called "The Handmake" and according to Robertson will feature "T-shirts, prints, 'zines, paintings and goodies." Oh, that's not all. There will be musical interludes by Summer Drone Club and the "one man spectacle of a band that is Gull."

And because man cannot live by intellectual food alone, Nate's Taco Truck will be there, too. The Handmake happens this Saturday, July 19 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Quirk Gallery, 311 W. Broad St.
