Motorists should be advised of a traffic shift along the Powhite Parkway southbound travel lanes immediately after the new southbound toll plaza, approaching the Chesterfield County line. This latest traffic shift is in conjunction with a series of previous lane closures due to repaving work. Drivers exiting onto Chippenham Parkway southbound should remain in the far left lane after going through the toll booths to allow for an easier exit. Drivers continuing on to Chesterfield County should remain in the far right lanes. Although this traffic situation will last for two weeks, an additional lane shift will occur upon completion at the end of the month.
