The beloved owner of an eastern Henrico County convenience store was buried this afternoon after being eulogized at his Islamic mosque as a martyr to justice and his family's well-being.

Just three hours after his alleged slayer appeared briefly on a video monitor in a Henrico County courtroom and was ordered held without bond, Farooq M. Bhimdi, 64, was celebrated as a man devoted to family and their welfare at the Islamic Center of Virginia.
