Relay for Life participants braved both heat and showers to support cancer research

County will mark Fourth of July with tournament, fireworks show

Goochland County will be hosting its annual fireworks extravaganza Saturday at the Goochland Sports Complex at 1800 Sandy Hook Road, welcoming residents of all ages to come enjoy an evening under the stars. Attendees are invited to park and watch the fireworks from the nearby Goochland County Administration Building, Goochland Elementary School or the Goochland Middle School and High School Complex. Fireworks are expected to begin at 9 p.m., and will be rescheduled for Saturday, July 5, in the case of inclement weather.
