Scientists using ground-penetrating radar at historic Eppington Plantation in Chesterfield County located more than 30 graves, including three that might involve vaults shared by an adult and a child.
The study was able to specifically identify the graves of two infants, but not the grave of Thomas Jefferson’s daughter Lucy, who is believed to be buried there.
