Charges reduced, dropped in Richmond school bus incident

Five of six students facing felony charges in an attack on their school bus driver were convicted Wednesday of lesser charges, authorities said.

The six Richmond students — four boys and two girls — initially faced one count each of malicious wounding and malicious wounding by mob.
