MECHANICSVILLE – Mechanicsville Post 175 starting pitcher Joey Pride clawed his way through eight innings against one of Post 175’s most dogged opponents this season – the Colonial Heights Post 284 Buccaneers – Sunday night at Atlee High School, stubbornly defending a one-run lead for most of that time to earned himself a 2-1 victory and earn his team a two-day break in the American Legion District 11 tournament.
