National youth soccer tournament coming to region this summer

July tournament for those 14-18 expected to draw about 4,000

The Elite Clubs National League, a league for female youth soccer players, will host its annual championship tournament in the Richmond area this summer.

The six-day tournament will be played in July, with the majority of matches held at the Richmond Strikers Soccer Club’s West Creek business park facility in Goochland County.
