Chesterfield police ID man killed in hit-and-run

Chesterfield County police identified the pedestrian who was struck and killed by two vehicles Tuesday as Christopher R. Coleman, 20, of the 4200 block of Lawnwood Drive in Chesterfield.

The incident occurred Tuesday about 5:30 p.m. in the 6200 block of Hopkins Road. A Pontiac struck Coleman, who was in the road, and then a brown truck hit him and fled the scene, authorities said. The Pontiac's driver remained at the scene.
