I was honored to have been able to be apart of Jake's life. I had the pleasure of seeing him grow from a little precious angel (days at Daycare) to a handsome young man ( 4 years in middle school). I know he is now free from any pain and is running and playing with his friend Eli. My prayers are with the whole Parrish Family. Love you J.P. :)

God in his divine wisdon always knows what is best for us. He gave Jake the most perfect parents and the most perfect family. Jake touched so many lives in such a wonderful way. I am a better person because of my interactions with Jake. God teaches us many lessons in life. He used his sweet child "Jake" to teach many of them to everyone he came in contact with including me. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. I know this is a difficult time for you all, but please remember he is in God's arms now and his possibilites are endless. Remember, your love will find Jake even all the way to heaven and his love will find you wherever you are.

He is gone" ~ a poem by David Harkins

A ship sails and I stand watching till it fades on the horizon, and someone says, "it is gone".
    Gone where?
Gone from my sight, that is all; it is just as large as when I saw her...
The diminished size and total loss of sight is in me, not in him, and just at the moment when someone says "he is gone", there are others who are watching him coming, and other voices take up a glad shout, "there he comes!"...
    and that is dying.

Peace be with you and yours during this time. God is Good.

    Kelly, Rick and Lauren,

I am so sorry for our loss. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to be a part of Jake's life. Although I was his teacher; he taught me so much and brought so much joy to so many at LMS. It was an honor to know such a precious angel.

Oh my sweet JP-Izzle, you have always had a special place in my heart. I know you are now free from a body that confined you, and you are now able to sing, dance and play! I will miss your sweet, charming smile. I truly saw the face of God in your eyes. You will be missed.
