According to the guys in the office, there's some sort of sporting event going on this weekend.

The Colonial Athletic Association Men's Basketball Championship is in town and apparently that's a big deal.

I'm told that, in addition to the 12 teams traveling in for the games, the conference brings thousands of fans from all over the East Coast to our fair city. And since we're about to be inundated with sports fans, I thought it was only fitting that we gave them a local guide to the sports bars around town.

It's a simple list that includes the only criteria that I can imagine sports fans care about: wings, beer and televisions.

Big Daddy's Sports Club: D.C. of Big Daddy's swears his is the best bar in the Bottom and with 52 TVs, 12 wing flavors (the best wings), 10 beers on draft (available by the pitcher) and a $1 draft special, all-day-everyday, it's hard to argue with him. 1718 E. Main St., 804-344-5344

Buffalo Wild Wings: With four local locations you can't go far and miss a BW3.
