The band Rolling Stone once named the "biggest rock band of the year" is ready to take the world by storm once again. Coldplay releases their highly-anticipated fourth studio album this week, "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends." The album comprises 10 brand new tracks, recorded in London, Barcelona and New York with the legendary producer Brian Eno and Markus Dravs. The band started work on the album in 2006, but took a break to tour South America. "Viva La Vida" captures more Latin influence than just its name. The bluesy first single, "Violet Hill" has driven the album up the charts making it one of the fastest charting albums in UK history.

In 1977 Dennis Wilson's "Pacific Ocean Blue" became the first solo LP to be released by a member of the legendary Beach Boys. Over thirty years later "Pacific Ocean Blue" remains arguably the greatest solo work by a Wilson. Included in this deluxe 2-CD Legacy Edition is the original album in a gorgeous newly mastered form, plus the very best of Dennis' unreleased solo work.

Joy Division came to a tragic end in 1980 when vocalist Ian Curtis committed suicide, ending one of the most bittersweetly influential bands of that era. Surviving members, having agreed before Curtis'death that if one member had to leave the band, it would cease to exist, reformed as New Order.  "Joy Division" is an engaging documentary chronicling Joy Division's success and influence from its formation in 1976 to the eve of their planned American tour, when Curtis' death became an unfortunate addition to the mythology of post punk rock.
