BLACKSBURG A year ago, hitting clutch free throws was an Achilles’ heel for the Virginia Tech basketball team.

But Saturday, the Hokies sealed their biggest win under new coach James Johnson, an 81-71 upset of then-No. 15 Oklahoma State, by hitting 10 consecutive free throws in the final 1:16.
