In response to Playing This Spring
"Richmond's only off-Broadway theater"!?!? Just because a theatre gives itself the tag line "Off-Broadway on Broad Street" does not make it a hard-core fact. I adore Firehouse, but it's right up there with several other companies in town like Barksdale, Swift Creek and Richmond Triangle in terms of quality and "Off-Broadway" appeal (and I'd venture that many would argue Barksdale wins, though I would not dare to make that assumption). Let's do some better fact-checking, Richmond.com!

In response to Eat Beat: Sports Bars
I'm not big on sports bars as a whole, so don't know what the standard is, but Sports Page has GREAT food! Glad to see it listed here.

In response to Wilder Calls for Peace
My opinion is that government leaders should try to discuss their differences before airing them in the media. The city Of Richmond leaders could learn from Henrico and Chesterfield in this aspect. The county leaders may have personal differences with one another, but they are professional, and for the most part resolve their differences without media fanfare. The one thing that used to get me more than anything was the "Black-White" issues the city had. The Black leaders seemed to find something racial in everything. And, they were probably right 5 percent of the time. So, I will live here in the County and watch the entertaining show. Thanks Richmond.
