In response to RBlog: Avoiding the Pump
I have a 35-mile commute everyday one-way. So, I don't have any other choice but drive. There are no buses or carpools going from Chesterfield to Hanover that I am aware of. But, if I find an alternative, I will definitely use it. I'm tired of spending about $450 [per] month just to get to work.

I live nine blocks from my work and I drive to work everyday. Not because I am lazy but for the ability to come and go where ever I need when ever I need. I have walked to work on occasions but if I needed to get somewhere fast I would have to walk to my car, nine blocks away then drive there. That walking adds 10 minutes to the travel time. I don't have 10 minutes.

In response to Comfortingly 'Rustic'
My wife and I had dinner with friends last Saturday. I had read about the slow service but we had a different experience. Service was just right and everything from the menus to the wine and food service and getting our bill was just right. More importantly, the food was great (I had the whole Red Snapper) and my wife the short stack as an entree. The wine, a Pinot Grigio, was good and at $23 a bottle, well priced. We can't wait to go back since we didn't get to desert (we were too full).

In response to Home Affordable Home
Wow, what a powerful thing for our city! The one thing that RRHA has not done is provide enough affordable housing. I applaud these groups who are doing something about it!
