the fan is a truly great neighborhood. what makes it so great? historic preservation of beaufiful and simple victorian-era buildings; true mixed-income living; MIXED-USE ZONING; narrow streets; tree-lined streets; 5-10 minute walks to restaurants, markets, and shops; 5-10 minute drives to downtown and bottom. the fan is the best!

What good would that possibly accomplish? Attitudes like that are why we lack substantive regional cooperation on the issues that transcend the invisible lines in the dirt dividing us. Your toll money doesn't go into the city's coffers, it pays down the debt and pays for maintenance of the Powhite Pkwy/Downtown Expressway which is managed by the RMA. Remember city residents pay the same tolls when coming into the county.

Ok Brownco, if you think so. We'll take our toll money back and useless taxes back that we pay when we eat in Richmond then. I'm doing less and less things in the city limits and I hope others join me.

Chesterfield? That doesn't sound like Richmond to me.
