Flashback to the Big Cheese
Sure, we all hated getting on and off the school bus from our younger years, but it worked didn't it? If they don’t like the GRTC maybe they'll feel better having to use that good ole security blanket of their youth.
A Carpool with Karri Peifer
Because she clearly loves VCU students as much as a fat kid loves cake.
Pogo Sticks
They're fun, affordable and compact. Not to mention the great sidewalk entertainment we'd get out of it.
Segways
Rent them. But more importantly, make sure not to give lessons in advance. If you have yet to see someone fall on one of these, VCU should not be the ones to deprive anyone of this pleasure.
More Online Classes
If they don't have to come to campus, their car won't need to be there either.

Require Skateboards
That way it is more fun for me to chase students with my car.
Stop Expanding
Escalators and Moving Walkways
They have enough money already -- why can't they have these all over the city and above the streets?
Not allow Students to Have Cars
Hire Joel Bieber
Maybe students can borrow his “spaceship."

Install an Escalator by MCV
I wouldn't huff it up that hill, so why should they?
City Living Training 101
Lesson One: Wandering into traffic is bad. Lesson Two: Crossing against the light is worse.
Parallel Parking 101
Lesson One: Back into spaces. Lesson Two: Align the car to the curb. Lesson Three: Leave roughly a foot of space between cars. Lesson Four: If you don't you should be towed away.
Accepting its Commuter Students
It's always seemed to me that VCU wants to pretend that it’s a rural college tucked away in a village somewhere where all the students live on campus and hang out on the quad. It's not. It's an urban school whose student body is largely commuters. That means they commute to school (aka, drive) and that means they need to park … and 15 spaces for 20,000 students isn't enough. I know that and I wasn't even a math major. I did, however, manage to calculate that I spent roughly $500 on parking tickets during my time at VCU.
City Laws 101
It's illegal to ride your bike on the sidewalk. So stop doing it.

Promote Biking
There are plenty of students, and sometimes faculty, who drive to work but are likely within biking distance. People working in these areas can do this too. This would relieve parking in some aspects and save on gas.
Educate People About the Benefits of GRTC
The bus is a great way to get to places in Richmond, why not try public transportation?
Increase Fines on Tickets
This may seem harsh but I think it would definitely make people more responsible about how long they park.
Bring your Car to Work Day
If your last name is A-G, then bring your cars on Monday and Wednesday only. For last names H-M bring your cars on …
Create Zoned Parking
By this I mean create different zones for different sized cars. Make different zones for SUVs and compact cars. People with these kinds of cars will know where to park so that others won’t have to worry as much about trying to find a space in a hurry on the side of the street.
