The Hanover Square North shopping center in Mechanicsville has sold for $12.173 million. The deal closed Tuesday.

Henrico County-based brokerage Commonwealth Commercial Partners LLC, developed, managed and leased the property for owners COF North LLC and COF North II.

Medalist Diversified Holdings, an affiliate of Medalist Diversified REIT, a Richmond-based publicly held investment firm, bought the center.

The 72,440-square-foot shopping center, on 9.63 acres off Bell Creek Road, was built in 2007. Its tenants include Marshalls, Old Navy and Famous Footwear.

Evan Ocheltree, Craige Pelouze and Russell Wyatt, all with Commonwealth Commercial Partners, represented the sellers in the transaction.
