Veteran real estate broker Nathan Hughes has started his own company, Sperity Real Estate Ventures, and recently set up shop in 1,200 square feet at 213 E. Grace St., former address of TMI Consulting Inc.
Hughes is a friend of TMI principals Tiffany Jana and Matthew Freeman, and when they moved two blocks to bigger quarters at 404 E. Grace St., Hughes was glad to move into their former digs.
“There is so much going on in that East Grace Street corridor,” Hughes said, “so many restaurants, retail shops, and new residential redevelopment is going on. It only seemed fitting for us to be in the middle, since we’re doing so much work in this area already. Oh, and I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the positive karma that TMI has left in the space.”
Hughes had been with Bandazian & Hughes.
He said Sperity is “a boutique real estate firm, handling business brokerage and commercial real estate deals. We specialize in restaurants, development and churches. That seems like an odd mix until you look at the background of our agents. All of us are deeply ingrained in one or more of those industries and come at the work with the perspective needed to make these complicated deals happen.”
