The Richmond Symphony Chorus will hold auditions at Epiphany Lutheran Church from 6:30pm to 9:30pm on Tuesday evening, August 20, and Monday evening, August 26. Visit to read about the Chorus and its audition process and access audition preparation materials. If you are interested in auditioning, you will be asked to complete and submit a short audition questionnaire and schedule an appointment.

The Chorus rehearses weekly on Tuesday evenings from late August through early May at the Dominion Energy Center.  Additional rehearsals take place just prior to performances.

Recent Chorus performances with the Richmond Symphony Orchestra included Brahms’ Requiem and a concert version of Bizet’s “Carmen,” in addition to its annual performances of Handel’s Messiah and the “Let It Snow” Christmas Pops programs.  The Chorus will join the Orchestra during the 2019-20 season to perform Zemlinski’s “Psalm 23,” Handel’s Messiah, a Christmas Pops program, and Rachmaninoff’s “The Bells.”  Additionally, the Chorus will present an all-choral program.
