Join us for summer camp full of hands-on STEM activities that will spark curiosity and inspire campers to generate ideas in science, technology, engineering and mathematics! This summer, we’re offering six, week-long camp experiences, each with a different theme. Campers will be divided into two age groups – rising 1-3 and 4-6 graders – with opportunities to explore the Museum, visit our Dome Theater and participate in a variety of Live Science programs. Pick one week or come for all six for a STEM summer party!
Camps will be held from 9 am – 3 pm, Monday through Friday. Camp fees cover a daily snack, t-shirt, water bottle and all camp activities. Campers will need to bring their own lunch to energize them for our scientific adventures. Post-camp childcare is available to help make these extraordinary experiences possible for all schedules.
When does a wave become a tsunami? When does a dark cloud become a tornado? How can we predict when earthquakes will hit or volcanoes erupt? Become a storm chaser as we revisit some of history’s most daunting natural disasters. Learn how natural disasters occur, how we can be resilient when they do occur, and even create some mini-storms right here in camp!
