Comfort bar manager Michael Hanbury and chef and co-owner Jason Alley are lifelong musicians, and music plays a huge part in their lives. The music they listen to has always influenced them, so when co-owner Michele Jones asked that drinks be named after song titles, Hanbury said it was a no-brainer.

Southern Girls

Makes 1 serving

1¾ ounces Reservoir Rye (Reservoir Distillery)

¾ ounce Creme de Mure

1 ounce fresh lemon juice

1 ounce simple syrup

3 dashes Regans’ Orange Bitters

Lemon twist for garnish

Build over ice and shake vigorously or hard or “like a Polaroid picture” (your choice).

Strain into a coupe/martini glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
