The first Fall Fashion Weekend starts Friday evening and extends to Saturday night as RVA Fashion Week arrives in Richmond.

A free jewelry and art showcase begins at 7 p.m. Friday downtown at Haxall Point, 1001 Haxall Point, where guests can view and purchase jewelry from local artists and designers and see it worn on models during a live art exhibit.

Then head back to Haxall Point Saturday evening as six local fashion designers present their fall collections. The designers include Angelia Cooper of Angelia’s Couture; Markie Colden of PLV; Nikki Fisher of Nkiba; Ivy Stewart of Part 2 RVA; Jevin Kinard of Child Rebel; and Corlette Dixon of Tough Cookie.

Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance at www.rvafash or $20 at the door.
