More than 400 dogs were entered into the Danville Kennel Club Breeder Show on Saturday and Sunday, where owners and handlers showed off more than 100 different breeds — ranging wildly in size, appearance, hair length and color. Judges were choosing the best dogs of each breed, group and the best in the show at the Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex in Chatham. Owners and handlers kept busy throughout the afternoon Sunday running their dogs through the rings for the judges, brushing their hair and applying products.
