The Center For Rural Culture, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving rural culture in the Central Virginia Piedmont, teamed up with Kindred Spirit Brewing in West Creek last Sunday to celebrate both fresh, local fare and great beer. A team of chefs led by Dave Booth, the Director of Culinary Arts for Goochland County Public Schools, developed a tasting menu for the event, with each dish paired with and inspired by Kindred Spirit beer. All food was sourced from local producers who are part of the CRC co-op (Fall Line Farms and Local Roots).
