Two students were injured Monday afternoon in a school bus crash in Chesterfield County.

The crash in the 5400 block of Otterdale Road was reported about 3:50 p.m., authorities said. Two students suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a hospital, according to Chesterfield fire Lt. Jason Elmore.

The crash is being investigated by Chesterfield police.

No other details were immediately available.

Separately, Henrico County police responded to a crash Monday afternoon involving a Hanover County school bus.

About 2:45 p.m., officers responded to the area of Virginia Center Parkway and Brook Road for an accident involving a bus that did not have any children on board, Henrico police said.

Six vehicles were involved in the crash, police said. Three adult patients were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Henrico police Lt. Lauren Hummel said.

There was no entrapment or ejections during the incident, Hummel said.
