Petersburg police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man found dead Monday afternoon on Pegram Street.
Police said his cause of death had not been determined and that his body had been taken to the state medical examiner's office.
Police were called at 3:06 p.m. to the 600 block of Pegram Street for a report of someone lying on the ground. After paramedics arrived, the man was declared dead. The man's identity was unknown, police said.
The man, who police said was black, had tattoos on both arms. On his left arm was a tattoo of the scales of Justice with the word "Justice" under it, and his right arm appeared to have a picture of a crown with words tattooed above and below it, police said.
