Police have identified a driver who died Saturday in a crash involving two vehicles in Prince George County.

The crash happened shortly after 7 p.m. in the 15000 block of James River Drive.

Authorities said a preliminary investigation showed that a 2003 GMC pickup truck heading west ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected to the left and hit a 2003 Acura sedan that was headed east.

Police said the driver of the Acura, Trevor Aldridge, 18, of Prince George, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers of the Acura and the driver of the pickup were taken to VCU Medical Center with serious injuries.
