Chesterfield County police are investigating a shooting in which a juvenile was struck in the leg while traveling in a vehicle near Chippenham Parkway.
At about 6:30 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 3900 block of Meadowdale Boulevard after receiving a report that a juvenile male had been shot while traveling in a vehicle on Hopkins Road. He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
It was reported to Chesterfield police that a male suspect had fired multiple times from a moving vehicle on Hopkins Road near Chippenham Parkway. The victim’s vehicle was struck, as were several other vehicles. No other injuries were reported.
The suspect’s vehicle was described as a green, four-door sedan, possibly a Nissan Altima.
