A woman who pulled out a gun during a fight after a dance competition at Huguenot High School was arrested Saturday, Richmond police said in a news release.

Police did not immediately release the woman’s name or the charges against her.

Officers responded to the South Richmond school at 6:30 p.m. and encountered a fight among members of a dance competition that had recently ended. They broke up the fight and arrested the woman who had a gun, then searched the high school and found no other threats.

Police reported several minor injuries from the fight, with one person taken to a hospital.

Police said more details would be released later.
