Students in Hanover County have a new option to report bullying.

The school system on Wednesday announced the launch of “Stand Up, Speak Out — Stop Bullying Now.” The online reporting tool, which is anonymous, is available on every school’s website.

In a news release, Hanover County Public Schools said the tool will “allow students and parents to report bullying from anywhere, on any device, at any time to help further support the safety and mental health needs of students.”

To access it, students and parents can go to a school’s website and click on the “Stand Up, Speak Out — Stop Bullying Now” button near the bottom of the page. They can also use the students and parents tabs on the main menu.

The tips will go directly to school administrators and counselors.
