The Richmond Police Department will be closing several streets Saturday for the Arthur Ashe Boulevard unveiling ceremony.

Between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., sections of five streets will be closed:

• Kensington Avenue between North Sheppard and North Mulberry streets;

• both sides of North Arthur Ashe Boulevard between Patterson and Hanover avenues;

• North Colonial Avenue between Kensington and Patterson avenues;

• Stuart Avenue between North Arthur Ashe Boulevard and North Mulberry Street; and

• Hanover Avenue between North Arthur Ashe Boulevard and North Mulberry Street.

Parking will not be allowed from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both sides of the 400 block and the west side of the 500 block of Arthur Ashe Boulevard, as well as both sides of the 2800 to 2900 block of Kensington Avenue.

From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., parking will not be permitted in a few blocks in Battery Park, on both sides of the 2500 block of The Terrace, on the 2500 block of Montrose Avenue and the 400 block of West Lancaster Road. In addition, the 900 block of Roseneath Road, near the Arthur Ashe Monument, will be off-limits on the west side.
