A funeral for Sheena R. Green, a 26-year-old Henrico County resident who was found shot, run over and left for dead Sunday on Richmond’s North Side, will be at 1 p.m. Friday, today, at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 16210 Short Cut Road in Doswell.

Burial will be in Belmont Cemetery in Doswell.

Ms. Green’s body was found about 3:30 a.m. Sunday lying on the ground in a wooded area in the 2700 block of Richmond-Henrico Turnpike.

She was pronounced dead at VCU Medical Center.

Ms. Green was a King William native who graduated from Patrick Henry High School in Hanover in 2005. She was an employee of Capital City Kingdom Learning Center in Richmond.

Survivors include a son, Corenzo “Day-Day” Green, and a daughter, Kanajah Green, both of Doswell; her parents, Otelia and Sherwood Green Sr. of Doswell; two brothers, Sherwood Green Jr. of Ashland and Thomas Green of Richmond; and a grandfather, Raymond Freeman Sr. of Doswell.
