HBAR fund will aid tornado victim’s family

The Home Building Association of Richmond (HBAR) membership is a family. On Monday, Sept. 17, in the tornadoes of Hurricane Florence, a tragedy took place. In the path of this historic storm, Old Dominion Flooring Company in Midlothian lost one of its own – Ronnie Bishop.

Members of HBAR are coming together to support Ronnie’s family through the Blue Jacket Invitational on Oct. 15. The golf tournament will be held at Hermitage Country Club and will start at 9 a.m. All charitable funds collected from the event will go to the family. The HBAR Board of Directors also asks for your help with direct donations through a GoFundMe page created specifically for Ronnie’s family:

Our hearts are broken for our friends and colleagues at Old Dominion Floor Company. HBAR will keep you informed on how we help them rebuild. We appreciate your support.
