1. Urban Meyer
Ohio State announced this week that outgoing football coach Urban Meyer will teach a class on leadership and character after he retires from coaching. While Meyer sounds like a terrible choice for the position, Ohio State could have done worse. They could have hired Lance Armstrong.
2. $500,000 freebie
Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia had a bonus written into his contract that paid him $500,000 if he pitched 155 innings. Sabathia fell two innings short, but the Yankees paid him anyway. Why not just give the money to charity?

4. Greek team

Pitino was under investigation for players getting paid under the table to attend Louisville and recruits being offered strippers and prostitutes on visits. If we start hearing about a wave of American players headed to Greece, don’t be surprised.
