The Richmond Flying Squirrels unveiled a logo for their 10th season, scheduled to begin April 4 at The Diamond against Hartford.

That game will start a season-long celebration of a decade of Flying Squirrels baseball.

The team, which is the Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, arrived on the Boulevard for the 2010 season.

The logo, designed by Nick Elder of the Flying Squirrels, features an acorn shape surrounding the 10th-season lettering. It represents the seeds planted in the Richmond community over the decade and the organization’s future growth, according to the Flying Squirrels.

The 2019 Eastern League All-Star Game will be held Wednesday, July 10, at The Diamond.
