Armando Bacot was the All-Metro basketball player of the year last year at Trinity Episcopal. He now attends IMG Academy in Florida and has signed with North Carolina.

Former Trinity Episcopal basketball player Armando Bacot has been selected to the McDonald's All-American Game.

A 6-foot-10 senior committed to North Carolina, Bacot is one of three players from IMG Academy selected for the game, in addition to Josh Green and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl.

Twenty-four seniors nationwide are picked for the game, and this is the first time one school has produced three of the game's players. IMG Academy is 20-1 and is ranked third in the nation by USA Today and MaxPreps.

Bacot is averaging 14.8 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.6 blocks for IMG. The game will be played March 27 in Atlanta and will be broadcast on ESPN2.
