The Rapids beat No. 4 Midlothian 8-7 and have won seven of their past eight games. James River’s losses are to Deep Run, Midlothian and Atlee.

Collegiate and St. Christopher’s split games against outside teams. Atlee’s only loss is to St. Christopher’s. Deep Run edged Douglas Freeman 13-12 last week.

The rankings remained unchanged after all five teams went unbeaten last week.

No. 1 Atlee improved to 10-0 with a win over Lee-Davis. No. 2 St. Catherine’s beat St. Anne’s-Belfield 15-4 and Norfolk Academy 12-11 in overtime to run its winning streak to five games.

No. 3 Collegiate beat Trinity Episcopal 14-3 and Albemarle 17-7. No. 4 Deep Run topped Douglas Freeman 11-5. Cosby has won seven straight.
