TUCSON, Ariz. — The Richmond Kickers and FC Tucson wound up in a scoreless tie Saturday night at Kino North Stadium.

Richmond’s Akira Fitzgerald made a save in the 20th minute on a Jordan Jones header. He made another stop on Roy Abergil in the 85th minute to keep the game scoreless.

Phillip Ejimadu made a stop on Richmond’s Mutaya Mwape in the 10th minute and stopped Joe Gallardo in the 36th for Tucson.

Gallardo had the best chance of the game on a shot that was deflected in front but hit the crossbar.

Fitzgerald had two saves for the Kickers. Ejimadu had two for Tucson.

The Kickers return home to play the Chattanooga Red Wolves SC on Saturday.
