A couple of late strikes helped the Richmond Kickers defeat FC Tucson (2-3-1) 2-0 on Saturday night at City Stadium.

Joe Gallardo struck in the 83rd minute to snap the draw and give the Kickers the lead. The goal was assisted by Wahab Ackwei.

In the 6th minute of stoppage time, Mutaya Mwape scored a goal assisted by Matthew Bolduc to add insurance for the Kickers.

Akira Fitzgerald had three saves for the Kickers (3-2-2).
