Laura Hamilton Hare and Thomas Robert Nirschl were married on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at St. Joseph's Villa Chapel in Henrico, Virginia. The ceremony was officiated by Reverend Jay McNeal and was followed by a reception at the Hilton Richmond Downtown, the original Miller & Rhodes department store. The couple then enjoyed a honeymoon trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica. The bride is the daughter of Pamela Larkin Hare and Joseph Hamilton Hare of Henrico and granddaughter of the late Marita Demarest Nye Larkin and Raymond George Larkin, formerly of Allendale, New Jersey, and the late Florence Ethel Wallace Hare and James Clarence Hare, formerly of Narrows, Virginia. The groom is the son of Julie Ann Dreyer Nirschl and Robert Christopher Nirschl of Herndon, Virginia, and grandson of the late Eilleen Theresa O'Leary Dreyer and James Leonard Dreyer, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, and Mary Ann Olencziak Nirschl and Dr. Robert Phillip Nirschl of McLean, Virginia. The bride's sister, Kristen Hare Christian of Gloucester, Virginia, was the matron of honor. The groom's brother, Dr. Christopher James Nirschl of Dedham, Massachusetts, was the best man. The bride is a 2012 graduate of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, and was a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. She is currently employed as a Program Manager at the Maryland Health Care Commission. The groom is a 2013 graduate of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va. He is currently a PhD candidate in Pathobiology at John's Hopkins University School of Medicine. The couple currently reside in Baltimore, Maryland.
